The church community in this parish is called to share the good news of God’s love for all people. This good news speaks of welcome for all, with particular regard for those who are most vulnerable, into a community where the value and dignity of every human being is affirmed and those in positions of responsibility and authority are trustworthy. Being faithful to our call to share the gospel therefore compels us to take seriously the challenge of preventing abuse from happening and responding well when it has.

You can read our safeguarding policy in full (PDF) by clicking here.

If you have any concerns or comments about safeguarding in general, or about the safety or vulnerability of anyone in our church community, you are welcome to contact our Safeguarding Officer Marilyn Johnson on 01303 778 401, or 07731 748 988.

Alternatively, you can contact our clergy or churchwardens, whose contact details can be found on on the Contact and find us page of our website.
